Premium wood, vinyl, and chainlink for Creekside Park, Grogan’s Mill, Alden Bridge, Panther Creek, Sterling Ridge, Cochran’s Crossing, and every Woodlands Village. We know the DSC guidelines. We handle the submission.
The Woodlands DSC (Development Standards Committee) has some of the most detailed fence guidelines in Texas — approved species, stain palettes, height requirements, and mandatory tree preservation clauses. Add in the Woodlands’ famous mature-tree canopy and you get sites where installation requires careful, low-impact work.
We build fences that respect both the DSC and the trees. Root preservation, hand-augured post holes near mature trunks, careful staging — the way it should be done in The Woodlands. Our craftsmanship keeps homeowners in Creekside Park and Sterling Ridge happy, and keeps the DSC off their backs.

Yes. Every Village in The Woodlands requires Development Standards Committee (DSC) approval for fence installation, modification, or replacement. Building without approval risks removal orders and fines. We prepare and submit the DSC package for you free of charge.
6ft cedar board-on-board with a specific dark stain from the DSC-approved palette is the default. Height, stain color, and post caps are all specified. Some Villages restrict fence placement (side-yard-only rules, no-fence-in-front-yard rules).
Typical DSC review is 14–21 days. Peak summer runs closer to 30. We submit the day the contract is signed so we’re first in the queue.
Root preservation is standard practice for our Woodlands installs. We hand-auger post holes within 8ft of any mature-tree drip line, shift post spacing to avoid major roots, and if a root must be cut we consult with an arborist first. The Woodlands loses trees when contractors cut corners — we don’t.
