What We Build

Three materials. Built to last in Houston weather.

Every fence we build is designed for Houston’s humidity, clay soil, and hurricane season. We use commercial-grade posts, proper concrete footings, and hurricane-rated hardware — not the shortcuts other crews take.

Wood Fences

$25–$40 / linear ft installed

Classic cedar and pressure-treated pine privacy fences, 6ft to 8ft, board-on-board or side-by-side. Built to survive Gulf Coast humidity and Beryl-force winds.

  • Cedar — premium, weathers beautifully
  • Pressure-treated pine — budget-friendly, long-lasting
  • Board-on-board style (subdivision favorite)
  • Hurricane-rated post concrete footings

Zero-maintenance vinyl privacy and semi-privacy in white, tan, and woodgrain finishes. Won’t rot, warp, or need staining — ever.

  • Lifetime manufacturer warranty on materials
  • White, tan, khaki, and woodgrain finishes
  • Privacy, semi-privacy, and picket styles
  • HOA-approved profiles in stock

Common Questions

FAQ — Houston Fencing 101

How much does a fence cost in Houston?

Installed pricing for 2026 Houston: chainlink runs $12–$28/linear ft, cedar wood privacy fences $25–$40/linear ft (board-on-board style at the top of that range), and vinyl privacy $35–$65/linear ft. Actual price depends on height, gates, terrain, and access — we’ll give you a fixed written quote within 24 hours of visiting the site.

Do I need a permit for a residential fence in Houston?

Under current City of Houston rules: no permit is required for backyard or side-yard fences up to 8 feet tall (as long as you’re inside the setback and not in a historic overlay). Front-yard fences over 3.5 feet do require a permit, and any masonry or concrete fence requires a permit regardless of height. HOA approval is a separate process — and much more common to trip on than the city rules. We help you navigate both.

Do you handle HOA approval submissions?

Yes — free of charge. We’ll prepare the materials spec, drawing, and neighbor-consent forms most HOAs require in Katy, Sugar Land, Cypress, and Woodlands communities. You just sign and submit. Most approvals turn around in 7–14 days.

How long does a typical fence install take?

Most residential wood or vinyl installs finish in 1–3 working days once we start. Chainlink is often same-day. Custom gates or commercial runs may take longer. Wet weather and Houston clay can push schedules — we always call the day before to confirm.

What’s your warranty?

3-year workmanship warranty on every install — if a post fails, a picket comes loose, or a gate sags because of how we built it, we come back and fix it. We also pass through the full manufacturer warranties on materials (lifetime on most vinyl, 30+ years on treated wood).

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry general liability and workers’ compensation insurance and are happy to send you a certificate of insurance (COI) before we start. Ask any contractor you’re considering to do the same — if they hesitate, that’s your answer.

Do you do fence repairs?

Yes. Post replacement, picket replacement, gate rebuild, storm damage, HOA-flagged repairs — if it’s smaller than a full section, we’ll fix it.

Do you do commercial work?

Yes. Chainlink perimeter for warehouses, self-storage, athletic facilities, and construction sites. Commercial-grade vinyl-coated black chainlink is our specialty. We’re bonded and can meet most GC insurance requirements.

Was your fence damaged by Hurricane Beryl or a recent storm?

We’re actively taking storm-damage work and can typically schedule an estimate within a week. If you’re filing an insurance claim, we’ll provide the itemized documentation your adjuster needs.
